Our Mission
Together with JVP members all over the country and our many allies, we envision a world where all people — from the U.S. to Palestine — live in freedom, justice, equality, and dignity. Like generations of Jewish leftists before us, we fight for the liberation of all people.
We believe that through organizing, we can and will dismantle the institutions and structures that sustain injustice and grow something new, joyful, beautiful, and life-sustaining in their place.
What We Do
Expose
...the political and material connections between US Zionist supporting donors, politicians, corporations, and pro-Israel lobbying groups (ADL, AIPAC, etc.) and Israel, and disrupt their shared funding sources.
Investigate
...and highlight the relationship between AZ police and border patrol and the IDF; additionally, this looks like interrupting Tucson’s corporate ties with Raytheon, Caterpillar, Elbit, among others.
Interrupt
...the cultural, financial and institutional bonds between Jewish communities in the U.S. and the Israeli government.
Strengthen
...relationships outside organized Jewish community to include family members, friends, and organizing connections; we are disrupting propagandist support of Israel from local Jewish institutions with anti-Zionist Jewish perspectives; we are supporting BDS movements.
Educate
...stakeholders and legislators about antisemitism and how anti-Zionism is not antisemitic; looking at connections between ADL and local Federation supported organizations; building liberatory Jewish community through creative ritual.
Fight
...antisemitism in a collective liberation framework and actively resist revisionist definitions designed to uphold Israeli impunity.
